TiE's Detroit Chapter will hold its annual Business Plan Competition (BPC) during the TiEcon Midwest 2010 Occasion on Oct. With more than 15,000 members in 61 Chapters globally, TiE has quickly established itself as a unique support organization. Their center offerings learning are mentoring and networking, with successful entrepreneurs (named Charter Members) sharing insights their experience and contacts to simply help others. As a not-for-profit organization run completely by volunteers, they don't offer commercial services.

Through this programme, its General Members are linked by TiE using its Charter Members - leading entrepreneurs who voluntarily support the following generation of entrepreneurs through advice and access to contacts. The assignment of TYE will be to run an original leadership and mentoring software which builds company and professional skills for pupils.
