The Entrepreneur Acceleration Plan (EAP) - a groundbreaking program by the Chapter started in January 2006 to catalyze the eco system in India, was the first of its type in the history of TiE internationally. It continues to be an innovative and effective activity of the Bangalore Chapter and has gained tremendous success.

By 1994, TiE had become an official organization with a bigger group of participants and members. TiE stays a distinctive volunteer driven organization, with the single minded focus on its goal. Summit isA's essential initiative to push at the young entrepreneur startup programme, a key initiative identified under the State Government's Mission 676 action plan. Awards are declared at TiEcon, the world's largest conference for entrepreneurs.

The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), founded, in 1992 in Silicon Valley with several successful entrepreneurs, corporate executives and senior professionals, now has over 13,000 members and more than 2,500 charter members in 61 phases across 15 countries. Do the famous entrepreneurs like the Shahrukhs, the Sachins, the Nusrats, the Shakiras, the Bikhchandanis, the Tulsi Tantis etc,. Their time, as an entrepreneur from Indus, has just about arrived.

After partnering with TiE in 2013 to bring Jigar Shah to Silicon Valley to discuss the tremendous leapfrog chances for clean energy in India , the Team is excited for TiE's coming conference, TiEcon , as a chance to improve entrepreneurial curiosity about clean energy alternatives for global energy poverty. It's just with financial support that entrepreneurs will have a way to help power the lives of the 400 million Indians.
