The Entrepreneur In Residence (EIR) Theory

The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), was founded in 1992 by several corporate executives, successful entrepreneurs, and senior professionals with roots in the Indus area. The seminar, the first and largest professional and networking conference for entrepreneurs in Kerala, will discuss different facets of entrepreneurship. When the first generation of Indians succeeded in shattering the glass ceiling, they chose to help others follow their route. Their latest programme, TiE Institute, is a sort of university.

The US government provides to companies, labs and universities about yearly, and they are finding means for support greater commercial application of this research to generate successful businesses and jobs. They spend the next few months developing a thorough business plan.

Indians, who constitute just 6% of Silicon Valley's working population, begin about 15% of its businesses. But the bigger message is for entrepreneurs everywhere: begin helping one another and envision what you can reach in the event you put your differences aside. Every year, the program holds a national contest for young entrepreneurs from every TiE center of America. The pupils compete against one another before judges for the prize to invest into their business ventures and take their business plans. Instead of having students simply collaborate in class to develop their business plans for the end of year contest, the plan demands a lot a lot more than that.
